Successful project presentation & innovative technology from Münster

Our employee Jan Wenning successfully presented his project work, “New development of a small electrical device for remote monitoring and network connection of compressed air systems,” at the project presentation of the Technical College at Hans-Böckler-Berufskolleg (HBBK) in Münster.

The PSM device was developed in cooperation between Jan Wenning (LANCIER Monitoring), Thomas Jung (Westnetz, Münster), and Nils Sahle (Windmöller & Hölscher, Lengerich).

The PSM – Pressurized System Monitor from LANCIER Monitoring enables continuous, condition-based monitoring of compressors. Insidious faults are detected at an early stage, maintenance is planned as required, and downtimes are reduced.

Our employee Jan Wenning successfully presented his project work, “New development of a small electrical device for remote monitoring and network connection of compressed air systems,” at the project presentation of the Technical College at Hans-Böckler-Berufskolleg (HBBK) in Münster.

As part of the presentation, students from the mechanical engineering and electrical engineering departments showcased their innovative projects – Jan's work stood out in particular due to its high practical relevance.

The PSM device was developed in cooperation with Thomas Jung (Westnetz, Münster) and Nils Sahle (Windmöller & Hölscher, Lengerich) and includes not only the hardware but also web-based software for evaluation and configuration.

PSM – Pressurized System Monitor from LANCIER Monitoring enables continuous, condition-based monitoring of compressors. Creeping faults are detected at an early stage, maintenance is planned as required, and downtimes are reduced.

Operating hours, power consumption, pressure, temperature, and humidity are among the parameters monitored. Configuration and evaluation are carried out via an intuitive web interface and an integrated touch display – including automatic alarms.

Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
