New year, new inspiration

We have had an eventful year, marked by many technical developments, new partnerships, and a new start in terms of management personnel: Roland Hünteler joined our executive board in July and is now working with Ludger Tidde to shape the future of LANCIER Monitoring.

We would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us, your suggestions, and the open exchange of ideas throughout the year, and we look forward to what lies ahead. Enjoy reading and all the best for the new year!

HEAT EXPO 2025 Review

From November 25–27, 2025, we were back at HEAT EXPO in Dortmund.
Our team on site was able to make numerous new contacts, deepen existing partnerships, and gather ideas from the market that will help us move forward.

Conclusion: HEAT EXPO remains a real highlight in our trade fair calendar, not only because of the technical discussions, but also because of the proximity to the people who are helping to shape the heating transition.

A big thank you to all visitors to stand D68 in hall 4—we look forward to seeing you again next time!

New strategic partnership with Skylark Energy Solutions

We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Skylark Energy Solutions (Madison, Wisconsin). Together, we are bringing our fiber optic technology (“FORM – Fiber Optics for Rating & Measurement”) to the US, thereby strengthening our presence in Northern America. Skylark complements our expertise with its many years of experience in the US energy sector, particularly in the areas of dynamic line rating (DLR) and grid optimization.

Stay tuned for our first joint projects and innovative solutions for grid operators worldwide.

We're certified for better environmental protection.

LANCIER Monitoring has been officially certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 since 2025, an important step in our environmental management.

We are particularly pleased that our auditor was impressed by the preparation and commitment of the entire team. In addition to formal certification, key environmental aspects were analyzed and measures such as the company's own wallbox were further optimized.

For us, this is not just a result, but an incentive: sustainability remains an integral part of our corporate strategy.

Products & Technology

New products

UMS2 rollout in full swing

More features, better overview, and even more user-friendly—this is the positive feedback we are receiving from all users who have already switched to our new UMS2 platform.

It provides a complete overview at all times. Thanks to the intuitive color coding system, critical problem areas can be identified at a glance, including their exact geographical location.

A simple mouse click is all it takes to initiate detailed analyses and measures directly.

PipeAlarm LX

Freshly launched at HEAT Expo in late November, the modular PipeAlarm LX district heating pipe monitoring device impresses with its high flexibility.

The self-sufficient, battery-powered device can be configured in any way desired, from pure temperature and contact monitoring up to 4-channel pipe monitoring (= 8 measured values) in parallel in the supply and return lines of a district heating pipe route.

PipeTDR-2C: Bewährtes weiter verbessert

Making good things even better has always been one of LANCIER Monitoring's strongest points. Thanks to our in-house development team, we can respond quickly to new market requirements and valuable feedback from our measurement technicians. This year, we have once again succeeded in doing just that.

Our proven PipeTDR runtime measuring device is now Bluetooth-enabled. The cable connection between the measuring device and the evaluation tablet, which was previously necessary, is no longer required, eliminating a frequent source of tripping hazards in everyday use. The result: significantly more freedom of movement and comfort for everyone who performs responsible measurement tasks on a daily basis.

In addition, we have revised numerous details to make operation even more intuitive and improve the display of measurement results. This makes the PipeTDR-2C more powerful, more practical, and even closer to the requirements of our users.

New to the line-up: GAST compressed air components

Since 2025, we have been expanding our compressed air portfolio with selected products from the US manufacturer GAST.

These include high-quality compressed air motors, diaphragm pumps, and rotary vane pumps: powerful, quiet, and versatile, e.g., in medical technology, mechanical engineering, or laboratory applications.

Thanks to our many years of experience and certified service expertise, we are your reliable partner for all things GAST.
