The LANCIER Monitoring Tx bus is a message bus that uses a pair in the telecommunications cable. The monitoring stations query the measured data values via the Tx bus in sequence at fixed intervals from the sensors connected. Up to 127 sensors can be connected over a length of several kilometres to a single Tx bus.
Tx bus measured data points can be connected anywhere very easily as no external power supply is needed. This is supplied via the Tx bus pair.
